KISS AND FLY is supposed to bring us to the place where we are able to feel excitement and freedom again. Where physical contact and endless possibilities for exploration are unrestricted and natural. This phrase is commonly used to define the zone at the airport where one gets dropped off and kissed goodbye before departure. For Brian Keith Stephens KISS AND FLY became a metaphor of longing for these sensations which were temporarily removed from our lives. The memories of travels and carless kisses stimulated the notion to create this collection of works.

By entering his painterly universe we are invited to taste the lightness of being, wind in our hair and desire for romance.

The exhibition itself acts as a plane to fly us back to ourselves. KISS AND FLY.
